Olaaf Rossi
President
Olaaf is a multidisciplinary technologist and CTO with deep experience building custom software and integrated systems across immersive installations, enterprise platforms, SaaS, and hardware‑driven environments. His work spans real‑time media systems, IoT, embedded and RF communications, cloud and DevOps, and industrial automation—driving everything from projection‑mapped spaces to live show control, spatial audio, and pneumatically controlled automation stages and 6 axis robots. Equally fluent in software, infrastructure, and physical systems, he specializes in bridging custom code with commercial platforms, professional hardware, and complex built environments.
He is the former CTO of Kernel (where he learned LEAN methodology), and of a FinTech startup among his other roles gaining experiences around the world and around the clock.
Karen Ngai
Chief Design Officer
Karen is a cross-functional design leader with experience shaping digital products, physical environments, and the systems that connect them. Her work spans websites and mobile apps, museum exhibits, CMS and information platforms that support complex organizations. Bridging human-centered design, content systems, and operations, she turns strategy into tools, workflows, and experiences that make work visible, usable, and scalable—working closely with engineering and business teams and customers to prototype, test, and refine ideas in real context.
Most recently, as former VP of Design of Kernel, she led lean design and operations across restaurant workstations—rethinking information flow, screen design, and standard work to improve speed, quality, and resilience.
Chris Keitel
Principal
Chris is a hardcore software engineer with a degree in Comp Sci and a Masters in Mathematics from Columbia and NYU. As a classic programmer, he brings a deep respect for fundamentals, performance, and correctness to everything he builds. He has experience working across the full spectrum of computing platforms—from legacy mainframes and low-level microcontrollers to modern desktop applications and large-scale web software. In addition to hands-on engineering, Chris has held leadership roles on multiple projects, guiding technical direction, mentoring engineers, and driving complex initiatives from concept through delivery.
